In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident apartments and the common areas of the community.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining a secure environment to all employees and residents. Must have weekend availability. This position reports to the Associate Executive Director.

Essential Functions:

• Familiar with all emergency and safety equipment including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems.

• Secure all areas of the building, check for open doors and any unusual activity. • Conduct regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building.

• Respond to emergencies according to Senior Lifestyle policies.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Use proper telephone techniques as required.
• Assist receptionist during emergencies.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
