Job Title: Senior Manager, Direct to Consumer Omni Finance
Reports to: Director, HF Commercial Finance, HF Controller
Location: South Deerfield MA
Job Summary:
Manages the financial planning and analysis functions of the Retail Stores and Direct to Consumer Online Divisions. Serves as the primary finance point of contact for total Home Fragrance Retail and DTC On-line Operations. Manages assigned staff.
- Assist in the development of strategic long-term direction of the business
- Partner with the business leaders to provide financial guidance, modeling, and reporting support for omnichannel go to market strategies
- Serve as the primary finance liaison to business partners
- Coordinate the development of consolidated financial budgets and forecasts, adhering to corporate timelines.
- Manage all gross margin planning, analysis and reporting processes including promotional effectiveness
- Datamine POS sales data from various sources for regular and ad-hoc reporting
- Develop and maintain various financial models to support the business on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Assist in the development of strategic plan assumptions for budget system entry
- Oversee any developmental work and upkeep of SkyIT, the retail store POS reporting tool
- Oversee the execution of the store labor model and related reporting
- Budget for and track performance to the Retail Sales Incentive Plan and oversee calculation of quarterly incentive payments
- Oversee the month end close process ensuring accurate financials for each fiscal period, adhering to corporate timelines.
- Assist in the development of the monthly/quarterly review package providing relevant commentary on performance to plan and prior year.
- Datamine GL level detail from Oracle for regular and ad-hoc reporting
- Manages assigned staff; hires, trains, coaches/develops and manages employees' performance including providing regular feedback (both positive and remedial), performance appraisals and salary administration. Represents the company in communicating policies and ensures a safe environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in Finance with 5+ years related experience
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to recognize key business drivers; develop and implement key strategic initiatives
- Excellent management skills with the ability to organize and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient communication skills in executive environments, presentation, and strategic influencing skills
- Must be a team player and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft office tools and data mining aptitude.
