Job Summary
The Inventory Control Supervisor maintains inventory system accuracy, data integrity, local level audit controls and inventory levels to prevent product out-of-stocks.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises daily counts of full goods and weekly counts of ancillary items.
- Assists in reconciliation of inventory variances of full goods and ancillary items.
- Reviews and researches status of open purchase orders and inter-branch transfers.
- Reviews SAP reconciliation.
- Fosters and maintains open communication with sales and route settlement.
- Reviews and audits product movement within facilities, i.e. check-in/out procedures, breakage write-off process, and product recover/destruction process.
- Reports any short-dated product to local leadership.
- Reviews day supply reports for out-of-stock risks and communicates to centralized planning.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of work experience required.
- Two years supervision or leadership experience preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory required.
- Experience operating a manual or electric pallet jack forklift preferred.
- Intermediate computer application skills including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.
