Role Summary: The Loading Dock Supervisor will be part of the Building Operations team and will be responsible for leading the daily operations for building and event related activities that will take place in the loading dock and marshalling area. The Loading Dock Supervisors will assist with the scheduling of inbound/outbound deliveries, tracking and distribution of delivers to respective venue departments for pickup or storage of items in designated areas. Specific Functions/Activities Summary:

• Assist with leading all aspects of the loading dock and dock employees, ensuring safety and efficient operations for all dock related tasks by following our safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitors daily deliveries and movement throughout venue using various computer software applications.
• Coordinates back of house operations with Production Department for dock access on show and event days.
• Works closely with venue security team to ensure the proper inspection of inbound packages and and access control of loading dock.
• Ensures loading dock equipment and tools are maintained and loading dock remains clean and clear of obstructions; inspects all incoming packages for damages, and reports findings to respective venue
• Assist with managing operating budget for loading dock.
• Performs other duties as assigned and directed.

Qualifications:

• May be required to operate cargo truck or van.
• Experience with operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered) is required.
• A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time and work with various operating groups.
• Must have a positive attitude and good teamwork ethic.

• Loading Dock employees

• This position includes heavy lifting and cleaning. Frequently lifting items 50+ lbs.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, overnights, holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
