Roles and Responsibilities

As Support Technician you are responsible for providing customer support for computer hardware, software and peripherals to the customer’s network and Qmatic systems. The work is performed in close cooperation with other members of our customer support team, Project Management, Sales, and end users.

You will help us strengthen the support team based in our Duluth, GA office and have the opportunity to join a global team focusing on delivering technical support to our customers in the US/Canadian markets. As a part of our Global Support you will be working together with colleagues locally as well as globally.
With a close connection with other teams such as Project management, Configuration and Sales you will be a crucial part of our successful development.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • relevant education in IT/computer technology
  • experience in a help desk/customer support function
  • the ability to conduct support calls in both English and French- both spoken and written.
  • Other additional languages highly desirable.
  • good PC/network troubleshooting skills
  • thorough knowledge of Windows-based software components
  • good understanding of Windows Servers
  • basic understanding of SQL server and/or Oracle
  • service-minded approach with a high level of professionalism to deliver great customer experience and contribute to business opportunities
  • the ability to communicate in a customer-friendly way with our clients
  • Familiarity with Zendesk is a plus

The position will be based in our office in Duluth, GA, where you will work together with your local colleagues as well as your international colleagues, and report to Head of Global Support, Klas Caesar.
