Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual that wants to expand your skillset and be a part of an innovative team? Armanino’s Tax Operations team is looking for a Tax Administrative Assistant to join them in the Irvine office.

This role will give you the opportunity to work a flexible hybrid schedule, and to be a part of a unique, people-centric culture. This position will require overtime February through April and September through October, including occasional Saturdays.

We are looking for a wickedly smart individual with a positive, “can-do” attitude who is proactive, communicative, observant and is willing to learn and grow.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Process and assemble tax returns, while ensuring accuracy of client deliverables
  • Organize & scan work papers using office technology
  • Data entry and verification using internet-based software programs
  • Compare data sets to ensure consistency
  • Process engagement letters and other client related documents
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies
  • Prioritize workflow and deadlines, while practicing good time and project management skills
  • Interact professionally with internal and external clients while handling inquiries effectively and in an organized and courteous manner.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Minimum of high school level completion
  • Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience; previous experience in a professional services / CPA firm highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
  • Customer service oriented and high level of professionalism
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and proofreading skills
  • Proven ability to work in high volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple, simultaneous projects while prioritizing, planning, and organizing.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as needed within a hybrid work environment
