What’s the job?

The Technical Support Specialist will be on a team that maintains and supports an enterprise ERP, eCommerce, and proprietary applications. You will also design and implement custom monitoring solutions to help diagnose and resolve issues.

  • SQL Reports – Create and maintain custom reports as needed. Candidate MUST HAVE some at least minimal experience writing SQL queries.
  • Server Management – Identifying, reporting, troubleshooting and resolving ecommerce, point-of-sale, and ERP security application issues
  • Application Support – Researching, troubleshooting, and resolving issues for team members on both proprietary and external POS systems
  • Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialties and skill sets
Requirements:

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Superior interpersonal skills inclusive of a positive, easy-going, people-oriented attitude with an ability to work with users at all levels within the company
  • Intellectual curiosity, excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate analytical and technical content in an easy-to-understand way
  • Quality time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Dependable, flexible, adaptable, attentive to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic environments
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks in an environment subject to disruptions and/or a rapidly changing focus
