5 Star Car Rental, Inc. d/b/a Avis Rent-a-Car at the Bismarck, ND Airport is seeking applicants to join our Vehicle Service and Detail team. The ideal candidate will enjoy being on their feet much of the day, working outdoors, in all weather conditions to meet the daily vehicle rental demands of corporate and leisure travelers. As a Vehicle Service Detailer, you will work in an outdoor environment and subject to all weather conditions to properly inspect, clean and maintain safe operation of Rental Cars for our traveling customers. There is advancement opportunity to lead the entire detail staff for the optimal candidate at this Avis location.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect rental cars for visual safety concerns and any damages.
• Clean, vacuum, wash and sanitize all size of vehicles.
• Check and fill gas tank.
• Report any damage, warning lights or safety concerns to management.
• Ability and understanding how to check fluid levels for proper and safe operation. (Washer Fluid, Oil Level, Coolant Level, etc…)
• Ability and understanding how to check and fill proper tire inflation psi.
• Assist with occasional snow removal and shoveling.
• Assist with any shuttling of vehicles to service or repair shops.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age is 18 (BFOQ) to be considered for employment.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for two consecutive years. (Insurance Purposes)
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Reliable Transportation to/from the Bismarck Airport.
• Available to work a varied and flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to be on your feet for most of the shift.
• Prior automotive experience is a plus but not required.
