Freddie’s Place Animal Hospital + Urgent Care is a 24/7/365 family & patient focused urgent, emergency and wellness care facility that offers a state of the art, 21stcentury facility with a healthy dose of concern and caring that is often lacking in today’s Veterinary care facilities. We treat our customers and their beloved pet as our guests, focusing on the issue and solution while keeping the patients comfort and respect at front of mind. Freddie’s is overcoming the stereo-type of the sterile, emotionless and “money first” treatment centers. Our vision matches the playful spirit and determination of our beloved therapy dog that the center is named after Freddie, who loved to play with his red ball. About YOU:

Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking exceptional individuals who are technically advanced as a veterinarian and exhibit strong emotional intelligence and maturity; have positive mental attitudes, with empathy and compassion toward others. Have shown outstanding leadership skills and abilities, are capable of mentoring others in a fast paced environment, have keen team building skills and enjoy excellent two way communication with colleagues. Possess the ability to work positively alongside other Department and Team heads within the organization to support the success and growth of the facility. Individuals that thrive and grow as a key member of a positive and fun organization.

Education and Experience:

- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university (Required)

- California Veterinary License (Required)

- Doctorate

- Veterinary Experience of 3 years, minimum (preferred)

- DEA Certification

About the Position:

Job Duties:

- ProvidePet/Patient counseling and education

- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of animal cases, nurturing a positive client experience

- Guide and utilize and exceptional support staff with eye on mentoring and development

- Perform small animal surgeries, as required

- Provide leadership and guidance in center review of medical policies and protocols

- Keep current on new and updated process and procedure for treatment and wellness in the field of veterinary medicine

- Promote the Freddie’s Place brand of “patient first” diagnosis and care
