Our client is seeking an experienced Produce Warehouse Manager to oversee their produce distribution center. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of produce handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations. The Produce Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring quality control and timely distribution of produce to customers.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage all aspects of the produce warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and performing their duties to the highest standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety and health regulations for all warehouse staff and visitors.
  • Manage the quality control of all produce products, ensuring that they are properly inspected, labeled, and stored.
  • Ensure that all produce is distributed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting all customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company, including sales and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and all other warehouse-related activities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing the storage and distribution of produce products.
  • Ability to travel to Texas for onboarding training for a period of a few weeks
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in produce distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of produce handling and storage requirements, including temperature control, ventilation, and humidity management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and outside of regular business hours as needed.
