In the role of Wire Install Designer III, you will carry out a variety of moderately complex to complex design assignments, exercising latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment based on design requirements, user guids, and defined processes. You'll have the opportunity to work independently on the development of original designs or adaptations that require specialized experience. This position contributes to our vision by:

  • Developing and maintaining Wire Harness physical design and installation
  • Performing assigned tasks meeting the organization's expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance
  • Collaborating and coordinating with customer to develop design solutions
  • Translating program technical requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks
  • Developing solutions to complex problems, which require ingenuity and innovation

Our Everett, WA facility is comprised of two business units: Safran Engineering Services and 787 Program. We work closely with the customer to provide engineering solutions and exceptional program support. This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in a Technical discipline or equivalent is preferred, along with:

  • 6-9 years experience in a technical classification
  • 3 years CAD design
  • 5 years Electrical/Mechanical design or installation
  • 3 years Aerospace industry required
