QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working under the guidelines of the safety program.

Machine setup.

Trouble shooting.

Inspect production material for visual defects.

Verify dimensional quality of product as directed.

Follow production schedule and direct all operations on line.

Support team in achievement of production and scrap goals.

Perform die changes and maintenance.

Provide ideas and implement ways to reduce scrap.

Perform Housekeeping duties as set forth.

Operate Forklift.

Read precision gauges and tape measure.

May require overtime. Assist in month-end inventory.

Must be able to perform all jobs on line and relieve as directed.

Other duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Degree/equivalent or 1 year work experience.

PERSONAL SKILLS

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with production problems and stress due to meeting a deadline.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands describe here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Standing (60%), Sitting (10%), Walking (30%), Bending (10%), Feeling (40%), Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, Climbing, Stooping, Kneeling, and Crouching (80%). All functions require force or movement of objects that are less than 10 lb. (10%), 10-50 lb. (70%), and 50-90 lb. (20%).

Attendance (100%) Reliable consistent attendance and the ability to perform overtime as requested is an essential job function for successful completion or performance of this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

With regard to environmental conditions, the following conditions represent an estimate of the exposure to environmental condition as individuals perform the essential functions of the position during a normal or typical workday, week, month, or year. Inside conditions that offer no protection from seasonal climate temperature variations (100%).
