MAPCO is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist in the Accounts Receivable department to reconcile all credit card types for Unbranded, Branded, and Dealer Stores. The Specialist will also balance the General Ledger and various other duties that are required by the Accounts Receivable Department.

Responsibilities

• Daily set up drafts/deposits into customers' accounts, communicating as needed to appropriate parties
• Pulls daily transaction detail for credit card receipts and/or any bank activity, maintains transaction detail in Excel spreadsheets, and manually imports data into PDI fuel accounting system
• Manually bills all orders out in the system to generate invoicing to customers
• Adheres to strict contractual deadlines with regards to billing customers per their established terms (i.e. NET 7, NET 10, etc)
• Weekly calculates commissions for approx. 8 commission dealer stores and remit payment to these stores based on these calculations
• Maintains various miscellaneous payments from or deposits to our dealer stores (i.e. rent, property tax, security deposit receipts/refunds, etc.)
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Accounts receivable or payable and bankcard industry experience, preferred
• Knowledge of third-party reconciliation preferred
• Attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (MUST HAVE)
• High School Degree/GED
