SUMMARY
The Advisor, Salesforce Solutions Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the knowledge of enterprise software platforms and integration technologies that are driving organization key business processes supported by technology. This position will maintain the organization integration models that are supporting the organization key business processes and their use of application, data, and technology components, with the objective of continuously improving business outcome. The individual should possess a combination of business knowledge, technical skills to guide the management of interfaces (integrations) that are moving data across heterogeneous platforms and integration technologies supporting key business processes.

This position will maintain the organization integration models that are supporting the organization key business processes and their use of application, data, and technology components, with the objective of continuously improving business outcome. The individual should possess a combination of business knowledge, technical skills to guide the management of interfaces (integrations) that are moving data across heterogeneous platforms and integration technologies supporting key business processes.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Define the strategy for integrating data between organization systems, including the overall approach, assumptions, and processes that will be used.
- Translate business requirements to design the necessary interfaces between systems.
- Design data mapping structures, data flow diagrams and data definitions to be used in the development, modification, and enhancement of system integrations.
- Identify gaps between systems for given business requirements and propose resolutions or alternative methods to meet the requirements.
- Develop and maintain the ‘Common Data Model’ and cross functional process design supporting integration methods between systems.
- Consult with system vendors to stay abreast of upcoming changes for the respective systems and prepare upgrade or modification plans.
- Prepare test scenarios and evaluate test results to validate accuracy of system integrations.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure updates to integrated systems are coordinated appropriately.
- Create and keep current a document library of metadata and technical specifications for all integrated systems.
- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and motivating software developers in the team.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- 3-7 years of experience in software development, analysis, design, and testing.
- 2 plus years of experience working in SOA (service-oriented architecture).
- 2 plus years of experience working in Microsoft Azure integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory, event grid etc.
- Importing, exporting, and processing large volumes of data inside and outside of systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Self-motivated and self-starter able to thrive in a small shop environment with little direction.
- Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to simultaneously manage multiple requests/projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to effectively function in a team environment.
PREFFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Integration Platform.
- Experience with Integration Patterns and Practices.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- One or more of the following certifications preferred:
- Microsoft Azure Solution Architect Certifications
