Experienced HVAC Apprentice

Homestead Comfort, located in Ellington, CT has openings for multiple HVAC Apprentices. Join our team and immediately start working toward your S, D, B, P, or J License by performing service on heating and air conditioning equipment. We have apprenticeship openings and will teach you everything you need to know so you can make over $40/hour right here with us.

Pay Scale: DOE up to $21 per hour for apprentices.

Work Hours: 7:00 am-4:00 pm or when the job is finished. Overtime as needed

Primary Job Function: To install heating and cooling systems to company standards and gaining the knowledge to grow into a lead installer. Ride along with our cutting edge technicians to gain all the experience needed to get your own company vehicle.

Required Qualifications:

· Insurable by Company insurance carrier

· High School/Technical Diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes

· Follow directions as given, written and verbal

· Basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings

· Comply with ALL SAFETY RULES

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Energetic personality

· Well organized and able to work independently

· Experience in the HVAC industry a big plus'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
