A Beautiful Apartment Community located in Dallas, Tx. is now hiring for both Lead Maintenance & Assistant Maintenance!

Qualifications:

  • Previous Apartment Industry Experience working with multi-family or single family homes is required.
  • Must have an eye for detail, have high work ethic standards, and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and experience with proper use of standard equipment, tools, and chemicals necessary for entire job completion.
  • Frequent Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. The ability to lift and/or move in excess of 25 lbs or more.
  • Must be willing to work an occasional weekend taking on call rotation as needed.
  • Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current residents to promote quality living experiences for all residents.

A Brief Description of Responsibilities include:

  • Assists with scheduling, monitoring, and / or performing preventative apartment maintenance and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnoses problems and repairs the areas of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical, Swimming Pool, Carpentry, Dry Wall, Exterior Structures, and Appliances.
  • Conducts Maintenance Related inspections including building and alarm inspections.
  • Provides on-call maintenance service when scheduled and performs emergency maintenance work when required, and approved.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in operable condition.
  • Comply with all company and OSHA Safety standards.
  • Communicates with the supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property.
  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience, previous apartment maintenance experience a plus.
  • Ability to drive others to maximum customer satisfaction, strong organizational skills, and time management skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • State Valid DL is Required
  • EPA or HVAC Certification is Required
  • CPO - Certified Pool Operator a Plus
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

  • Apartment Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
