As the Hyperion EPM Business Systems Analyst, you will partner with other FinTech leaders to perform systems analysis and implement systems changes across FinTech systems. You will be responsible for the overall metrics and business impact of your programs. Your performance is measured by the impact of the projects you launch seamlessly and by your ability to influence and encourage a successful multi-functional team that includes Product, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Operations.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Work with Finance and other multi-functional teams to get a deep understanding of the processes and data flows, and translate master data & data governance business requirements into functional design specifications
  • Designing HFM applications over multiple project lifecycles;
  • Working with Businesses on building business rules for Consolidation, Translation & Calculation methods;
  • Building dynamic / self-maintained reports (auto-calc, conditional formatting, etc.), Creating books and schedule execution, etc
  • Improving multi-functional system implementation projects;
  • Supporting the monthly financial process by proactively monitoring task completion, system outages, and user updates and by assisting users on an ad hoc basis;
  • Supporting SOX testing requirements for systems that directly support internal reporting;
  • Overseeing application governance for HFM systems;
  • Managing to load of financial data between systems and ensuring data integrity;
  • Design DRM Integration with FinTech applications over multiple project lifecycles;
  • Build Properties, Action Scripts, Books & exports for FinTech application master data management in DRM
  • Build DRG Models, Tasks, Validations, and Node access groups for the Data Governance process
  • Implement Common User Provisioning and manage security for DRM Applications
  • Work on Master data maintenance & security functionality in DRM;
  • Oversee the Master data governance process for FinTech systems;
  • Support DRM/Enhancements in designing solutions using DRM release 11..2.X;
  • Work with Finance team to create requirements documents & demonstrate very strong problem-solving ability, logic, and excellent analytical skills to drive the design of appropriate system solutions;
  • Manage communications, work across various portfolios and help solve delivery challenges
  • Work closely with multi-functional FinTech leads for long-term sustainable and scalable processes across multiple systems
  • Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing and conduct end-user training for various multi-functional system initiatives including solutions built from scratch, upgrades, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extensive years of experience in HFM & DRM
  • Experience in designing hierarchies, creating properties, exports, validations, and action scripts in DRM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive Knowledge of HFM standard dimensionality, especially regarding HFM dimensions
  • Skilled in Security functionality of HFM, maintaining user groups provisioning and security class access controls
  • Proficient in HFM & FDQM/FDMEE scripting/Coding.
  • Experience in creating Data Relationship Governance (DRG) model for data
  • Experience in developing formulas for creating derived properties and managing dynamic scripts using JavaScript
  • Managing and administering Data Relationship Management (DRM) tasks and activities including designing and developing workflow tasks

For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $130,000 per year - $144,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
