We don’t just provide a service—we develop creative solutions for all design challenges within any given project. Your role will be critical to maintaining positive relationships and mutual understanding with clients and design teams at every stage between project inception and completion. Your skill set.

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, master’s degree preferred
  • Familiarity with PSMJ project management practices or Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience guiding architecture and interior design projects to completion with a clear understanding of client needs and proven ability to execute a project scope within budget and timeline restrictions
  • Experience with healthcare design projects preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate between multiple Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with clients, project teams, department supervisors, and firm executives
  • Ability to remain positive, nimble, and flexible while navigating multiple, often overlapping schedules, software programs, change orders, and stakeholder group communications
  • Passion for design and architecture, possessing an outstanding ability to communicate complex design ideas to audiences with varying degrees of design knowledge
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the U.S.

A day in the life of an architectural project manager.

  • Represent A&E Design in all client communications at regular intervals between all stages of the agreement and post-agreement activities
  • Manage the A&E Design project team, communicating project status and performance to department supervisors, firm executives, or other designees
  • Prepare client agreements with defined scope and schedule, educating clients about the defined terms
  • Schedule, attend, and record meetings all with clients, project team members, and stakeholder groups
  • Maintain constant updates related to project completion, including schedule and billing milestones
  • Strive to innovate, learn, and improve, never settling for the status quo
