We are currently looking for a full time Assessments Clinicians
PURPOSE: To act as an assessment clinician and to provide direct care to inmates participating in CODAC's medication assisted treatment program
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct patient screening, intakes, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, patient education, facilitate referrals, follow-up after care, record keeping, orientation, consultation and relapse prevention
- Demonstrate understanding of and adherence to appropriate ethical behavior as stipulated in the CODAC Policy and Procedures Manuel and in accordance with Hampden County Sherriff's Department of Corrections Policy
- Demonstrate understanding and adherence to confidentiality regulations as stipulated in the CODAC Policy and Procedures Manual, Federal Regulation 42CFR Part 2, and other pertinent Federal/State laws and regulations
- Maintain individual and group caseloads in accordance with CODAC procedures
- Monitor urine and breathalyzer tests when necessary
- Obtain and/or maintain appropriate credentialing and licensure
- Obtain and maintain competency in Motivational Interviewing
- Provide basic office tasks, if necessary
- Provide case presentations at clinical meetings
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree, 1-3 years in the field LADC or currently working towards licensure
Bilingual Spanish a plus
