JOB SUMMARY
This position is accountable for supporting the Hard Tea Director with the development and execution of regional & local marketing campaigns along with sales strategies and tactics designed to grow brand health and awareness, market share, volume, and profitability across markets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management of all brand related projects from conception through execution, including social media, retail programming, and consumer experiential
  • Lead the development of communication materials for marketing plans, communication plans and all other activities to the sales organization
  • Support new product development and commercialization of those products
  • Development and execution of fresh and exciting promotional campaigns across on- and off-premise channels, such as tactical and thematic programs, promotional packages and POS support materials
  • Utilize internal and external data to develop compelling fact-based selling stories for use on sell sheets and key message decks
  • Assist in annual brand planning process including analyzing current data trends, concept and creative ideation, budget building, and presenting to internal employees and external stakeholders
  • Participate in the development of brand positioning, creative and media activities for the assigned brands
  • Provide support in delivering cost effective and creative solutions (traditional and non-traditional) to communicate brand positioning to consumers
  • Provide support in managing regional and/or local media buys and ensure communication to internal organization
  • Provide support in managing and activating brand sponsorships or partnerships and provide guidance to sales and field marketing managers on local volume driving activation
  • Assist in the development of new products and packages to achieve set brand objectives
  • Manage day-to-day workflow & discussion with support teams (agencies, sales, brewery, procurement, etc.) regarding project milestones/updates to ensure efficient execution
  • Lead planning and execution of experiential brand events
  • Accountability for managing annual brand budget and specific budgets relating to assigned projects
  • Ensure all brand plan activities meet legal guidelines
  • Tracking and analysis of brand performance and trends in terms of key measures (profit, volume, distribution, sales velocity, etc.)
  • Analyze internal and external data trends and provide regular updates with actionable recommendations to Brand Director
  • Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment


EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in Brand/Trade Marketing, preferably in Bev Alc or Consumer Goods
  • Experience working with external creative and design agencies a plus
  • Ability to work in less structured small team entrepreneurial environment and a willingness to embrace change and be flexible
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable with working with cross-functional teams and various levels of management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with pulling and analyzing data. IRI a plus
  • Previous experience managing departmental budget
