Job Summary:

Treatment Therapists work under the direction of the Lead Therapist (BCBA) to provide quality in home ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) behavioral therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Treatment Therapists are responsible for assessing new client skills, designing programming, assisting in writing treatment plans, training Treatment Technicians to implement goals, and providing supervision to Treatment Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out initial treatment plan: updating targets and goals as needed
• Conduct assessments and add goals under the direction of the BCBA
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans
• Prepare and/or delegate the creation of needed program materials
• Provide supervision to Treatment Technicians
• Schedule and conduct team meetings with families
• Communicate with families between team meetings to talk about goals, concerns, changes, etc.
• Work with the Program Coordinator and the Intake and Training Coordinator to make sure schedules remain up to date.
• Conduct in home, direct sessions with all clients based on the direction of the BCBA.

Education & Experience Required:

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• 2,000 hours of documented experience providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children and/or adolescents on the autism spectrum. Must possess a solid understanding of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral principles.

Requirements:

• Must be creative and energetic. Must also have a natural ability to interact with a variety of children on the autism spectrum at different functioning levels.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage Treatment Technicians
• Must pass a Wisconsin Caregiver’s Background Check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary: Competitive - Determined based on experience
