Description:

Your main responsibility as an Expo/Runner at Big Boy is to anticipate the needs of our guests and co-workers. It is vital that when in the dining room, your appearance always be crisp and clean. In fact, this will be important in many areas of your job. The Expo/Runner is responsible for upholding the standards of the food and beverage and delivering food and drinks to guests in an efficient and friendly manner while providing exceptional guest service. It is important that the Expo/Runner has a full understanding of Terrible Herbsts Inc. operational standards, policies and procedures and can effectively demonstrate them. The Expo/Runner must provide instant guest recognition and satisfaction, maintain excellent service standards, top-quality food and follow all Southern Nevada Health Department guidelines and codes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant
• Efficiently clearing and cleaning guest tables, chairs, and overall environment
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with drink service and clearing plates as needed
• Providing a fantastic first impression and exceptional guest service
• Focusing on overall Guest Experience and ensures every guest receives a personalized experience that caters to their needs
• Ensuring all food and beverage is prepared to standard before served to guests
• Delivering food promptly to the guests
• Knowledgeable about the food and beverage menus
• Responsible to meet all Health Department and maintain standards
• Assist team members if needed
• Any and all other responsibilities given within the scope of the job description

Qualifications:

Required

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of expoing/running experience preferred
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside the workplace
• Ability to obtain and maintain food handlers certification card
• Must be able to lift 45 lbs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must strive for 100% customer satisfaction
