THE FOCUS IS YOU:

The National Finance Office is the internal accounting and shared service team supporting the firm and its approximately 1,400 employees. We leverage technology and industry best practices to provide accounting services to our internal clients so they can focus on providing the Next Level of Service to our external clients.

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to add a Billing & Receivables Analyst to our firm’s National Finance office. This role will be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure all sales and orders are accurately billed, issuing invoices via mail, email, or client portals, ensuring invoices correspond with balance sheet reports and reviewing receivables and collection activity. This is a new role on our National Finance Office and offers an exciting opportunity for autonomy and ownership in establishing billing and receivable best practices at a national level.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure that clients are billed correctly, this is a collaborative process with the head of each service line
• Drive billing and time entry due dates for the office to help ensure team compliance
• Prepare, commit, and issue weekly and monthly client invoices
• Analyze billing related reports daily, weekly, and monthly basis to proactively address billing issues
• Import WIP and AR data to ERP on set intervals
• Reconcile invoices with balance sheet reports and resolve any discrepancies
• Reconcile WIP and AR in software practice and ERP and resolve any discrepancies
• Communicate with internal and external clients to resolve billing issues, answer questions and issue corrections to invoices or customer accounts
• Manage client portals and invoice submissions
• Ensure clients' billing accounts are updated and accurate
• Support accounts receivable efforts
• Establish and document best practices at a national level
• Additional responsibilities and ad hoc reporting and analysis as identified and assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Experience with project billing and/or a professional services firm
• Experience reconciling practice software to ERP software
• Current and relevant billing & receivables ownership at a fortune 1,000 company

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent experience
