Job description

The Association's Bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of multiple residential associations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks or similar.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare periodic account reconciliations and reports for management

· Ensure that all vendors are paid on time

· Ensure that financial reports are prepared on time

· Provide guidance to internal and external customers

· Support team members on all accounting issues

· Create standard and ad hoc reports utilizing various applications

· Oversee processes related to accounts payable, reporting, and cash management for multiple companies

· Maintain accounting records for multiple HOA/Condo’s

· Process bi-weekly payroll, preparing allocations and reimbursements

· Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and variance analysis

· Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets for multiple associations

· Prepare ad hoc analysis for new projects, operational issues, or as requested by management

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

· 4+ years of experience in accounting

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Cinc Systems a plus

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· High degree of accuracy, initiative, and adaptability

· Detail oriented with solid analytical skills

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

· Self motivated with the ability to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision

· Independent decision making

· Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
