GHJ Search and Staffing is looking for an Account Manager – Business Development

GHJ Search and Staffing is the recruiting arm of GHJ, a national accounting and advisory firm. Our Team provides qualified accounting and finance professionals on a temporary and direct-hire basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

The role of the Account Manager (Business Development) is primarily responsible for prospecting new clients for the Accounting & Finance search and staffing division. The Account Manager must be able to research, identify prospective users of temporary or permanent staffing firms, and develop a marketing plan to break into new clients and develop existing clients. Outside sale activities such as client visits, prospecting, and attending networking events are also a necessary part of the Account Manager’s weekly activities. The Account Manager partners with our Recruiters (direct-hire and temporary) to match the requirements of each client need.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and sell to staffing and recruiting solutions by contacting potential clients
  • Schedule and attend client meetings to generate new business and expand current business
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through cold calling/prospecting calls
  • Negotiate fees and close deals in accordance with company goals and expectations
  • Represent GHJ Search & Staffing in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours
