The Call Center Scheduling Specialist will join a team that will answer calls presented in the telephone queue in a timely, professional manner. The calls will then be directed to the appropriate staff or task through our EMR system. The Call Center Specialist will schedule patient appointments and gather basic patient information.

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

• Two years prior experience in an office setting or clinical healthcare experience
• Relevant customer service experience may be considered
• Additional education may be substituted for experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Intermediate proficiency and accuracy in the use of software programs such as MS Word, and Outlook
• Strong typing skills are required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; professional telephone communication
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Education

• High School or better
