Founded in 1990 and located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Ronan, Montana, Rocky Mountain Twist is the leading US manufacturer and provider of innovative, high quality power tool accessories to the retail market and engineered drilling solutions to the industrial marketplace.

We are currently searching for an organized, detail orientated individual to track, organize, and monitor new product and process development from inception to job completion. The successful candidate will ensure we are on track to hit our expected completion dates and provides progress reports and status updates to department managers. The successful candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent attendance.

Project Manager Essential Job Functions

  • Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
  • Research and provide cost saving solutions.
  • Coordinates technical product development and release to production.
  • Manages day-to-day progress of product and new product implementation.
  • Keeps an up-to-date progress report on all aspects of new product rollouts. Reports will contain specific due dates and timeframes for all aspects of the project.
  • Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
  • Conducts marketing analysis to develop product definitions.
  • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for product.
  • Identifies partnering opportunities for complimentary third-party products to broaden company’s product line.
  • Perform margin analysis for new and/or revised products.

Computer Proficiency

Ability to utilize various computer systems effectively; proficient at Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and the Internet; ability to learn and become proficient at enterprise computer software such as Made2Manage

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) preferred; or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
