The Central Manufacturing Engineer Regional Manager will manage the Capital Approval Request process through project planning and resource allocation, ICT coordination and footprint design / implementation. This role will ideally be located in Burr Ridge, IL but will also consider candidates in Racine, WI.
Responsibilities:
  • Capital Approval Request management
  • Develop and implement 5 year plan including budget reviews, forecast targets and monthly report outs ensuring critical year by year targets are met.
  • Resource allocation and planning, pivoting staff to meet project needs, managing to SGA budget.
  • Hold monthly technical reviews to share best practices including use of regional scorecards to track cost, quality and safety metrics.
  • Coordinate with IT to propose new and existing technology updates and applications can drive efficiencies in the plants and close technology gaps to drive our digital transformation.
  • Yearly review of contract renewals, mergers and acquisitions in conjunction with Legal, Corporate Development and Supply Chain Engineering teams.
  • Manage Footprint activities including large insourcing actions and facility improvement to increase retention and employee satisfaction.
The annual salary for this role is $139,000 - $213,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience preferably in a large industrial manufacturing environment including large scale project management, creating capital requests and prioritization of capital needed for 5 year plan.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% with the majority being domestic
