About us: HDS Truck Driving Institute originally began in 1991 and has been accredited with ACCSC since 2000. We've evolved into nine distinguished truck driving schools. Our family of businesses also owns an over-the-road truck fleet, a DOT regulation consulting division, and a commercial vehicle maintenance and repair shop. HDS’s most basic premise has been the same: to recruit, educate and lead Class A drivers that excel in safety, professionalism, and courtesy.

Compliance Manager supervises the compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices. Monitors all activities impacted by regulatory requirements related to the organization's governance and any industry-specific or location-specific laws.

They develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. They evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously; revising procedures, reports etc. to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.

Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a management role, including Title IV Compliance with rules and regulations. In-depth knowledge of Compliance standards.

Duties:

  • Communicating with employees to ensure they are aware of their role/s in compliance
  • Carrying out detailed research and completing documentation and risk assessments
  • Attending training programs
  • Liaising with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements
  • Overseeing implementation and conducting internal inspections
  • Visiting sites to ensure that agreed procedures are being implemented
  • Carrying out reviews of processes and adapting plans based on feedback
  • Maintaining records of compliance practices
  • Filing documentation with relevant bodies
  • Producing training materials and sharing best practices throughout business

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
