Job Description

  • Perform calculations to determine traverse closures, traverse adjustments, field note reductions, boundary analysis and construction, deed sketches, area calculations, and alignments.
  • Review and check work for quality control.
  • Organize deed and rights-of-way map data in preparation for drafting.
  • Prepare metes and bounds descriptions for boundary surveying projects.
  • Conduct deed research.
  • Apply abstract research and title commitment documents in preparation of a boundary survey.
  • Produce base mapping for roadway, site and land development, DTM’s and rights-of-way surveys.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Identify possible problems and conflict and brings to supervisor’s attention.
  • Communicate daily with Project Team to verify project scope, provide status updates, and give feedback on assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training.
  • Two to five years of survey experience with at least two years of office experience.
  • MicroStation and/or Civil 3D experience.
