Director of Field Operations opening with a stable and reputable privately owned real estate company based in the Bronx. We own and manage our own properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have rent stabilized experience with rent collection, knowledge of building systems, landlord -tenant court and governing city agencies.
  • Develop and perform regularly scheduled property inspections and maintenance.
  • Daily supervision of agents, supers and porters delegating and supervising work as necessary.
  • Prepare payroll as per attendance records.
  • Solicitation of bids for maintenance repairs and other miscellaneous projects.
  • Manage and oversee property improvement projects, both tenant and building related.
  • Being proactive in preventing and dealing with DOB, ECB, DOT violations.
  • Ensure that property files and records are maintained.
  • Heavy interaction with tenants in a professional manner.
  • Oversight of yearly apartment inspections and documented with pictures.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Residential Property Management.
  • Bi-lingual a plus (English & Spanish).
  • Associate Degree or comparable Business Management or Real Estate experience (preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills and team player
  • Attentive to detail, multi-task, organize projects.
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel), Property management software (MRI, Yardi, BJ Murray)
  • Will maintain excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have own vehicle (monthly car allowance)
  • On call 24/7 in emergency situations at properties.
  • Experience working with expeditors, DOB, DEP, DOT and ECB. (Expediting experience a plus)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
