Veteran Design & Construction, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and provides both professional design and construction contracting services to its clients.

Veteran Design & Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Laborer for a position located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This is a full-time position paid Davis-Bacon wages for a period of up to 2 years. The Construction Laborer will be expected to perform various tasks to help aid in the daily operations of the construction site. The Construction Laborer will be expected to have the knowledge of job site operations and how to properly use a variety of hands and power tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and clean job sites.
• Ability to load and unload materials.
• Handle and transport materials.
• Remove hazardous materials from construction site.
• Assist in setting up temporary structures.
• Ability to follow instructions from project managers and supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with necessary tools and equipment.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to and from construction site.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Ability to meet physical demands essential to the job.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
