Joining Us:

As a Cook your responsibilities include performing a variety of duties as assigned for food preparation, service and maintenance of dietary equipment and supplies in a sanitary condition.

Must have an overall understanding of the operations of the Assisted Living Community including regulatory compliance. Must demonstrate a passion for working with seniors and lead by example as a team member.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the preparation of food according to approved menus.
2. Responsible for assembling and distributing meal trays to residents per community policy and serving residents in dining room.
3. Performs daily and periodic sanitation activities including ware washing, pot washing, cleaning appliances, physical structure, floors, and specific daily cleaning assignments per community policy.
4. Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
5. Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Inspirit Senior Living.
6. Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the community.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook required.

Must have the ability to uphold and support the mission of Inspirit Senior Living, working everyday with integrity, compassion and love.
