In partnership with our parent company, Pivot Learning, The Consortium on Reaching Excellence in Education (CORE Learning) provides expert technical assistance and professional development for PreK-12 literacy and mathematics programs. About the Position

We are currently seeking an exceptional Coordinator, Administrative Support to provide administrative support to two Vice Presidents (VP, Product Development and VP, Strategic Partnerships) and other members of CORE’s leadership team as needed. This includes management of complex schedules, coordinating meetings with internal and external contacts, preparing and tracking expenses, and arranging complex travel. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and an ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.

This is a full-time, Non-Exempt position, reporting to CORE’s Executive Support Manager. Candidates for this position can be based anywhere in the US, and this position will be based from your own home office (All CORE staff work remotely). Periodic travel will be required for this role, primarily for team events and trainings (estimated at 4-6 times per year).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate meetings, calendar scheduling and arrange travel for multiple senior leaders.
  • Track expenses, prepare expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
  • Organize and manage designated projects, and work collaboratively and professionally with all staff, as well as vendors, consultants, and business partners.
  • Support CORE sales function by tracking leads/projects using CRM and other methods, communicating with clients, and generating proposal packets.
  • Attend CORE company events and meetings, both in person and virtually, in various locations. This includes in person events for educational consultants and staff, as well as weekly CORE leadership meetings (virtual). Responsible for all note-taking, minutes, and organization of agendas for weekly meetings.
  • Support other functional areas and members of the organization’s leadership team with special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A passion for the mission and vision of CORE and a desire to continually broaden and deepen the organization’s impact. An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities.
  • A self-starter with a high degree of energy and careful attention to detail. Strong sense of initiative and a process-improvement mindset. Superb organizational and time-management skills.
  • Highly flexible, creative problem solver, with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Execute and exhibit good judgment. High level of professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient or advanced skill in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google’s suite of products.
  • A demonstrated ability to plan effectively, but the flexibility to handle the unexpected.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize own work on multiple projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation

CORE offers a competitive compensation package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k contribution, vacation leave, sick leave, and 15 paid holidays. This role has a starting annual salary range between $60,000 and $75,000.
