Blinds To Go is seeking a passionate copywriter to join our Marketing team. This role will primarily focus on developing high-quality, engaging and brand-appropriate content across different advertising channels such as print ads, social media posts, catalogue, email campaigns and website. Their duties include researching keywords/trends and using creativity to write polished and concise copy, which guides and inspires our customers. This person will partner up and collaborate with the Marketing Managers, design and creative team to develop ideas and content strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition to positively impact the market share.

Key Responsibilities:

· Write clear, compelling copy across all marketing channels; including various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram etc.), email campaigns, video scripts, digital & print Ads, that reflects the company’s voice and brand

· Evolve and update brand’s tone of voice as needed

· Use data-driven marketing to guide all copy decisions

· Collaborate with Marketing team to strategize and implement SEO and keyword best practices

· Stay well read on current marketing trends and pop culture.

· Promote our products and services on social networks while maintaining the brand voice and tone.

· Edit and proofread all copy for grammar, brand voice, and accuracy before it goes live.

· Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness

· Conduct thorough research before beginning a project.

· Partner with the Marketing team for direction of concept to ensure copy is consistent and cohesive across all channels

What We’re Looking For:

· Excellent writing, grammatical and proofreading skills.

· Passion for creative story-telling with a writing style that is personal and fun yet elegant and approachable.

· Understanding of email, social media marketing, and other forms of online advertising.

· Communicates effectively and knows how to write in a brand’s voice and tone.

• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

· Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• Bachelors in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English or relevant major.

Highly motivated individual with 1-5 years of proven work experience as a copywriter or similar role is strongly preferred.
