Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Key responsibilities

  • Talks with customer by phone or in person and receives orders for account.
  • Supervise assigned accounts
  • Deliver Customer expectation
  • Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, communicates changes with accounts and ensures orders and changes are executed.
  • Solicits sale of new or additional services.
  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
  • Position is full-time and on-site.

We are looking for

  • High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years’ customer service experience in the transportation, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution industries. Retail and fast-food customer service experience non applicable at this time.
  • MS Word must be able to create and modify docs
  • MS Outlook must be able to manage emails and calendars
  • Intermediate proficiency skills in Microsoft Excel that includes inputting & exporting data, sorting, & filtering data, creating and modifying spreadsheets, using auto sum, basic formatting.
  • Need to have flexibility to work earlier, stay later and weekends based on customer needs
  • Must have availability to work on 1st Shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm (M to F).

Personal Characteristics (Soft Skills):

  • Organizational skills, meticulous flow-through skills
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and to work independently
  • Must be assertive and self-starter

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

  • WMS or Warehouse Management Systems
  • YMS or Yard Management Systems
  • Advanced proficiency skills in Microsoft Excel that includes pivot tables and Macros.
