Large Custom House Broker at Newark airport area is seeking an individual for an excellent career opportunity in custom house brokerage.

Customs Brokerage Entry Writer

Expectations

• Review entry documents for accuracy and provide feedback to appropriate parties if anything is missing or incomplete
• Process and submit entries as required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
• Submit required information to any applicable Participating Government Agencies (PGAs)
• Manage any exceptions with the involved parties
• Provide clearance status as needed to the appropriate parties
• Communicate with CBP and PGAs as needed to facilitate the release of the shipment
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Other duties as required

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years experience processing customs entries
• Knowledge of food commodities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with others to service our customers
• Ability to communicate as needed with our customers
