Job description
The DEI Consultant will focus on putting our values into action through the day-to-day delivery of our DEI projects, programs and initiatives. Responsibilities include researching, planning, supporting and implementing best practices to strengthen our commitment and impact to DEI. The Consultant will work cross-functionally within the DEI team, council and business partners across the company including external partners to drive outcomes, align DEI initiatives and collect and dissect data to determine trends and ensure operational excellence.
- You will design, develop and produce materials and resources needed to drive the DEI center of excellence. You will create stakeholder communication, such as emails, newsletters, reports, presentations, budgeting, survey completion and other materials. Facilitate and create content for workshops, advising on complex DEI-related topics, and gathering data for DEI Assessments.
- You will collaborate with Talent Development Consultants as needed on content creation, execution and strategy of DEI, Mentorship and Engagement education.
- You will support the Office of DEI with scheduling, managing logistics, coordinating events and other technical duties related to DEI strategies, programs and initiatives.
- You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal partners to further the evolution of DEI. Working cross-functionally to support DEI Awards and Recognition and external partnerships. You will work to ensure organization employs strategies to attract, develop and retain members of underrepresented groups.
- You will represent the office of DEI and the organization with external stakeholders on all topics of DEI to further a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- You will analyze data and compile statistics, metrics and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. You will present findings in a compelling and meaningful manner to Executive and Sr. Leadership.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Humanities or related field of study and 5+ years of directly related experience in DEI or Human Resources and/or 10+ years of experience in an equivalent combination of education and experience.
