Create compelling visual activations that promote the Grambling State University brand that inspire consumers to invest or enroll in the institution, monitor the use of brand assets among campus constituents, and provide support for the licensing and trademarks officer.

• Curate and implement visual design strategy that supports strategic communication and engagement efforts across media relations, print, social media, web, digital, and environmental signage for campus constituents and external engagement
• Monitor usage and representation of the GSU brand by internal and external constituents
• Provide consultation to campus constituents on design standards and provide assistance
  with execution
• Explore new strategies and maintain best practices for effective design and engagement
  that meet outcome goals

• Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, communications, graphic design, digital media management, or related discipline.
• Evidence of at least 5 years of experience in graphic design or marketing.
• Moderate to Advanced proficiency with visual editing software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and visual asset management.
• Moderate to Advanced proficiency of color theory, typography.
  

• Five years of experience with developing and implementing artistic direction strategy to increase and improve fundraising and enrollment efforts with documented success metrics and outcomes in higher education.
• Excellent analytical and soft skills, excellent organizational, communication and visual skills are a must to ensure cohesiveness in all the image, text, and video content created for university initiatives.
