Job description
- Promote positive leadership and positive work environment
- Bends pipe and pulls wire
- Shadows a Journeyman to continue understanding and learning the trade
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Has a good understanding on how to operate the tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Reports to the job site Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm and additional hours as necessary
- Maintains constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman and Superintendent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have a current Texas Apprenticeship Card
- 1-year experience minimum, 2 years’ experience preferred
- Must be a good communicator, verbal and written
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking and reliable
- Must have general knowledge of electricity and the desire to advance
- Must be able to pass E-Verify, background check, physical and drug screen
- Able to work in fast paced environments and accomplish tasks in timely manner
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds
- Work well in a team environment
- Electrical tools required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
