Description:The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems. The ATMP portfolio includes ~250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide.
The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. PEO STRI's published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance, and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.
This position is in support of the UMS/RC-12 simulators located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
This position requires the employee to support the UMS Shadow and Gray Eagle simulators, direct the Tech II work force, set employee schedules to meet training requirements and PMCS schedules.
  • Supports maintenance and training operations during weekends and shifting hours when required.
  • Interacts with users during training to resolve problems and re-establish the affected module to operational status without delay.
  • Responds to maintenance calls, initiates corrective actions, replacement parts requisitions, and related records updates.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs electromechanical, video, audio, and network systems using publications and wiring diagrams supplied by military, contractor engineering, and commercial off the shelf equipment manufacturers.
  • Must be able to safely handle rack mounted computers weighing up to 44 lbs. and universal power supplies weighing up to 57 lbs.
  • Employs use of complex electronic equipment such as, digital multi-meter, fiber optic test equipment, temperature probes, power meters, CAT5 and CAT6 network cabling testing.
  • Maintains logistics records, LAN based central work order system, and reports as directed by the site manager.
  • Ships and receives parts following strict US Government property accountability procedures.
  • Performs basic inspections, preventive services
  • At the discretion of the site manager, additional duties may include support responsibilities not directly associated with primary duties.
  • Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions.
  • Applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university and three years minimum work experience in a related discipline or three years related military training or a combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems / network or training device maintenance.
  • Two years' experience with Microsoft office software operation and use.
  • Must possess good written composition and verbal communication skills, ability to express facts and rationale.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel to various locations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
