Job description

We are seeking a Building Permit Expeditor to join our team!

The Permit Expeditor will coordinate the flow of work and materials between building departments throughout Miami-Dade County as well as coordinate with architects, clients and other professionals to move plans through the permitting process.

Responsibilities:

- Complete applications, file permits, and coordinate the movement of plans through various building departments

- Review comments and communicate with professionals efficiently and effectively

- Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates

- Review and communicate production status reports

- Serve as point of contact between building departments and clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience is a plus but not necessary, willing to train. Should be an analytical thinker, detail oriented, and an effective communicator.

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to prioritize and multitask

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work well in teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
