POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain 3rd Party Providers Analyst is responsible for ensuring controls over the Parcel category and 3PL warehouses are implemented, to mitigate risks by resolving issues and providing recommendations.
This role is responsible for proactively delivering relevant, actionable analyses and recommendations to internal customers. This position must influence business partners to drive decisions that will improve performance and help the business meet or exceed its objectives.
The individual must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate across multiple functions throughout the organization to promote alignment and drive results. The position will plan, prioritize, and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities to support and guide timely and sound business decisions. The role provides opportunity to manage projects and think strategically while dealing with business complexity.
This individual will play a key role by providing accurate and timely financial information and analyses, making and/or implementing sound recommendations. Position will support the finance Supervisor in streamlining processes and implementing best practices across the businesses. Key responsibilities include Parcel shipper account management, monitoring KPIs, proper allocation of costs and perform root cause analysis in compliance with Nestle Policy, to eliminate waste.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem solving of disputes to identify/implement process improvements to ensure 3rd party Vendors (Parcel and 3PL) are paid on-time and in compliance with their contractual terms
  • Payment Allocation and accrual analysis (3PL expenses, 3PL accruals, Parcel expenses and Parcel accruals)
  • Work cross functionally with Supply chain analysts to determine areas of opportunity.
  • Enforcing controls and ensure compliance over the Parcel category and 3PL warehouses.
  • Identify Control opportunities and recommend solution to management to mitigate risks.
  • Payment Reconciliation with Vendors (Parcel, 3PL, Amex and Cass)
  • Maintain Vendor accounts / Past due balances
  • Collaborate with other Departments to improve processes and implement best practices for financial controls
  • Work to deliver day to day objectives to ensure KPI’s are met and are trending in the right direction and provide appropriate reporting
  • Participate in the monthly operational reviews by providing updates on Vendor accounts and other measures
  • Parcel Shipper account creation and Management (Access & Shipping privileges)
  • Monitor and resolve Parcel accounts with address corrections fees
  • Provide Parcel end user training and support
  • Exception management of disputes with 3PLs and Parcel
  • Assist in creating and documenting new processes as required
  • Assist in Internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
  • Work with Procurement and operations as needed to resolve disputes while ensuring compliance and accurate charges are reflecting in SAP
  • Maintain 3PL rate tables in SAP

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience. Supply chain: Finance, Transportation (Parcel) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights and communicate effectively to management
  • Exceptional demonstrated problem-solving skills, must be able to effectively present information and analysis
  • Demonstrated evidence of a strong team player who can build key relationships with team members across multiple functions throughout the organization and influence the broader organization
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team. Strong ability to work across functions and divisions to deliver results.
  • Ability to work in a complex ambiguous environment under high pressure.
