WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Functional Analyst that will support our business partners to achieve their goals, by helping develop world class technology solutions. And this for serving our consumers via the distribution centers of our logistics campus.

The focus of your tasks will be translating business requirements to technical deliverables by working closely with the team and the Technical Product Manager(s) (TPM). You will be working in an agile product team where your professional expertise helps to answer questions of key-users about the functionality of new and existing applications.

Your professional insight means that feasibility checks on new requests regarding the business side are something you are familiar with. Due to your technical know-how, you can translate business requirements to functional and non-functional requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will be working with your team on:

• Clarifying new capabilities for our distribution centers
• Writing and updating functional documentation
• Implement new or updated solutions into production

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will be a member of one of our self-steering scrum teams with the EMEA Technology department, led by the Software Engineering Manager and will be located at our European Logistics Center in Laakdal, Belgium. You will interact closely with other Software Engineering squads within Nike as well as with the EMEA Node Technical Product Managers and other Technology teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have an academic background in informatics or electronics (e.g., industrial engineer) or equal through experience
• Proven ability to deliver high profile activities with the right outcomes
• You are highly motivated, love challenging projects and you can work autonomously
• Your communication is tailored to the audience and respectful
• You have a high level of ownership and professional sense of responsibility
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Written and oral communication skills in English
• Working experience in logistics or the trade domain is a plus
• Experience helping teams find efficiency improvements
