The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking Hold and Release Analyst to work at our food processing facility in Lowville- NY. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated- fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

  • $27.07/hour
  • A $1 shift differential for those who working on second or $1.25 shift differential for those working on third shift.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday- 3pm pm to 11 pm (2nd Shift- variable based on assigned work)

Work schedule varies based on what the needs are for the shift. Weekend- holiday- and overtime work will be required.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Provide a bullet point list of the responsibilities and duties of this job.

  • Maintaining and implementing the Hold and Release program for raw materials- packaging materials- packaging supplies- and finished product
  • Finished Product Grading; Shelf Life evaluation; Cream Complaints; Material Release in SAP
  • Perform Cooling studies- ensuring compliance to testing frequency & evaluation of cooling curves
  • Shipment of Samples; Dump Run Program
  • Provides various weekly and monthly reports and other duties as assigned
  • Other duties may include; general housekeeping- filing paperwork- period cleaning- saniguides and special projects
  • This position will be interacting with plant personnel- Corporate Quality and vendors

Sanitation: Will ensure that the equipment and machinery he/she works with is cleaned and sanitized per the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of the employment and during refresher sessions.

Quality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.

Safety: Will follow instructions delivered during the training that explained the fundamentals of the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep himself/herself and others away from harm while performing his/her duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work on all shifts- Weekend and Holiday work will be required. Schedule is based on a 7 day/week production; therefore- workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production. May perform different duties throughout the week as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office suite- SAP- eQCMS and file management
  • Must have excellent record keeping- have high degree of accuracy- and be a self-motivated individual
  • This position requires basic mathematical skills- as well as an ability to perform accurate work and attention to detail.
  • This position also requires team participation.
  • Some travel can be expected

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A Minimum of a High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Licenses required: Fork Truck- Milk Receivers- Direct Microscopic Count & Charm Antibiotic detection
  • Successful completion of 30/60/90 days review is required

  • Must have strong communication skills
