The Marriott Westchase is needing a Full-Time PM Gift Shop Attendant/Coffee Barista to work evenings.
Our gift shop is located off the main lobby and is where our guest grab their favorite Starbucks coffee and snack or pick up a souvenir while here for a convention. To be successful in this role you must have great customer service skills and experience, a sense of urgency when needed, and be comfortable working alone independently.

You will need to be able to work evening shifts, 3:30 - 10:30 PM, various weekdays plus weekends, including holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers when they enter the shop and serve guests beverages and/or food while offering assistance in locating merchandise, while upselling additional items to enhance profitability.
- Display merchandise in a neat, eye-appealing manner. Restock items as necessary, check expiration dates, and discard expired items. .
- Complete customer purchases, process all payment types, and process returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer, turn in all property monies and receipts, and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified.
- Secure shop and monitor customer activity to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.- Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation, especially focusing on cleaning and sanitizing sinks, side boards, and refrigerators.
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate is required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred but not required.
