Hotel INDIGO is an upscale luxury boutique hotel located off Southside Boulevard in the charming Tapestry Park Village. We have a position available for an experienced qualified full-time/Part-Time Front Desk Agent. This is an administrative position with face-to-face guest interaction.

$15.00 for candidates with a two year Front desk and OPERA PMS experience.

• Key responsibilities (but not limited to):Providing a service that is above the guests expectations
• Checking guests in and out of the hotel
• Answering the telephone in a professional manner
• Assisting guests with any questions, directions, and requests
• Interacting with hotel associates, assisting other departments as necessary
• Communication & Follow Up with all departments regarding any special guest requests
• Maintaining accuracy of data in computer and logs
• Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
• Opera experience a plus

Minimum qualifications:

• General computer knowledge
• High school degree or equivalent
• Pleasant demeanor
• General knowledge of Jacksonville geography and local venues; or strong willingness to learn
• Flexible availability - day and evening shifts, 7 days a week
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner

Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice, while always having a high level of patience and empathy

Hours: Must be flexible and able to work a varied schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights including weekends and holidays - hours will vary throughout the week and from week to week.
