CIS International is a Livestock Breeder, Wholesale Importer & Distributor of Fresh & Salt Water Live Tropical Fish, Aquatic Wood, Aquatic Plants, Live Rock & any many ornamental fish accessories. We have been in business since 1991 were we started off as a small company supplying local vendors in Jacksonville, Florida but now have growth to supply both local vendor and national wide retail pet stores.
The Aquatics Specialist will demonstrate a passion for fish husbandry, a good work ethic, and attention to detail. The will also perform a variety of husbandry duties including feeding, mortality removal, tank cleaning, and acclimation of new arrivals.

Essential Functions
- Responsibilities include removing and recording mortalities, feeding, and transferring fish.
- Monitor fish behavior and bring any abnormalities to supervisor’s attention.
- Assist with shipment acclimation.
- Allocating space, cleaning tanks, and preparing system for new arrivals.
- Always ensuring all assigned tanks are cleaned on daily bases
- Administering medication to fish with supervision.
- Assist with transfers between systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems. Routine cleaning including sweeping raceways.
- Always work to produce products people can trust by recognizing poor quality and communicating with management.
- Complete all tasks based on required safety guidelines
- Maintain appropriate housekeeping and sanitation procedures in the warehouse ensuring proper protocol and required biosecurity measures are followed.
- Provide prompt, friendly and courteous service to all employees with questions.
- Continually pursue sustainability of our natural resources with every decision, decreasing waste and being conscious of individual choices.
- Advocate positive change within our plant and company, empowering one another.
- Other duties as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
