The IDEA team is a cross-functional partner to the lululemon business. We serve as key point of contact with teams and leaders across the business, partnering to educate, advise, guide and champion behaviors that support inclusion, diversity, equity & action (IDEA).

about this role

Reporting to the Director, IDEA, the IDEA Manager supports the growth and success of inclusion, diversity and equity within the Americas and Global Guest Innovation (AGGI) organization. They will design, implement and execute programming, key projects and initiatives to further the IDEA strategy, objectives, and key results within the business function. They will use their analytical skills to report on metrics to conduct quality review and measure ROI and program success globally. Through their work, they will contribute to creating a more inclusive and diverse workplace across the organization.

a day in the life

  • Oversees execution of IDEA strategies and initiatives across global retail markets through others.
  • Consult with all PC business functions to ensure IDEA principles are integrated throughout decision making and identifies environmental or motivational gaps in achieving results.
  • Advises and makes recommendations to business owners on strategy and tactics that will drive IDEA through internal engagement and external guest experience while identifying business challenges and barriers to equity.
  • Drives data and accountability sessions to report data to Senior Retail Directors and influences tactics and best practices from an IDEA lens to address gaps.
  • Perform quantitative, qualitative and web/technical research on a variety of diversity topics including supplier inclusion and diversity, inclusive sustainability practices, and global vendor trends.
  • Support D&I strategy/roadmap through effective localization and delivery.
  • Evolve policies, practices and procedures through cross-functional partnerships..
  • Create ease, expansion, and efficiency in processes like communication, organization, and planning.
  • Collaborate with communications, operations and learning partners to prepare, maintain and update IDEA related materials.
  • Support in providing effective ideas and programming that builds a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Partner and consult with internal & external consultants (SME) to deliver and/or facilitate IDEA sessions to upskill business partners and leaders.
qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in leading people or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a coaching or facilitator role.
  • Experience working and influencing cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Experience leading large teams and/or leading projects or programs.
  • Experience facilitating and supporting IDEA content with business partners.
  • Experience in research and analytics.
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple tasks for different projects.
  • Demonstrated or passionate commitment to inclusion, diversity and equity principles.
  • Can work well both independently and collaborate.
