CUMULUS MEDIA | (Atlanta, GA) has an immediate, hybrid-remote opening for a full time IT Help Desk Specialist to provide support services to end-users by desk-side visits, by telephone, or via remote access application for our corporate and satellite station offices. This role will report to the IT Helpdesk Manager and work collaboratively with the other Helpdesk team members to ensure CUMULUS staff, new hires, vendors, and a variety of end-users are supported in their technology needs. The ideal candidate will combine their love of IT with their excellent ability to provide top-tier customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware – Windows 7/8/10 operating system
  • End-user support for corporate systems – Microsoft Office 365 issues, and basic network connectivity/VPN issues.
  • Assist with Laptop/PC movements, new user setup, and national wiring/access support remotely.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a Helpdesk/desktop support position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field highly preferred.
  • Strong Windows XP/7 and PC Hardware installation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products – 365 (SSO), SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook and mobile devices OS: iOS/Android.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server 2003/2008 – Active Directory, Group Policies, etc.
  • Exposure to TCP/IP for network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • A strong desire to work in a highly interactive, team environment.
